Say No to Vaccinations (aka jstsayno2vaccs / jstsayno2vaccs@yahoo groups.com ). A popular Yahoo list on this subject very recently closed down and we're hoping some people will choose to join us here. When we saw the problems with Yahoo Groups last fall, we knew we could provide users with a better experience. It's been our vision to become a platform for pet related groups, where they use our upgraded forum instead of Yahoo Groups. A forum is a slightly different experience than Yahoo groups format, but has many advantages, including privacy. We are in search of someone to teach and guide these new members. For existing groups that would like to get involved, we are happy to discuss with you the possibility of us hosting your forum here instead Yahoo Groups, if your interested in this please e-mail us at the address below.
We are looking for 1 or more persons who are experienced teachers (you do not need to be a school teacher, we are using the word in a broader sense -Noun: A person who teaches) familiar with the side effects and problems caused by vaccinations. It would be idea if the person is also able to guide users towards treatment options when available.
We are primarily looking for someone who wants to teach. You do not have to have any advanced computer skills for this position, we have other staff member to help with general moderation and dealing with spam. This is a volunteer position. You will be given the ability to edit, moderate, remove, delete, move messages, etc.
The information you share is public and is rapidly available via all major search engines. This is a great chance to make this valuable information available to the public, while allowing members to protect their privacy, by not disclosing their email address as is necessary on a mailing list. The forum software will also allow you to send private messages among users for issues that are best discussed privately - this allows you to communicate with any registered member without revealing your email address.
In regards to privacy concerns, we are allowing guest posting, which means all someone needs to supply is a made up handle or nick name. This allows users to remain anonymous. Also, if you create an account with us, unless you choose to override the setting, your email address is not made visible to the public. We respect your privacy. If you have an account with us; we will not disclose your email address to any third party unless we are forced to do so by law and / or due to a valid court order.
Since we are a forum, we have the ability to have a place for everyone, regardless of their point of view. We would ask that a moderator support this; meaning if a person / question would be more suited to a different sub forum, then you simply redirect that person, rather than making them feel unwelcome. We know that not everyone is going to feel the same way about vaccinations; please teach, but we don't want to drive people away. This is one thing we must insist upon; that sites members are not belittled or harassed for their point of view by any member. We do also ask that material discussed is legal in the area it is being discussed, if you have concerns about this; please talk with us privately.
We are happy to keep this forum on the subject of No Vaccinations, but will insist that members with other interests be politely redirected to other parts of the site as necessary.
To Apply, please e-mail: webmaster@pawdogs.com Please include a brief summary about your experience and knowledge level with vaccinations (and their related problems) and why you would like to be a teacher here.
