8-30-2011 Dog of the Day -- Dexter

Dexter is a Shih Tzu, he is just over 6 months old, I have had him since he was 9 weeks old, he was in a terrible state when he came to me, covered in Lice and looking very sorry for himself, but with a lot of Love, care & patience he soon became the adorable, loyal, loving, companion you see now. His favourite toy is his teddy bear Angus, his second favourite is a squeaky Bruce Forsythe toy (yes Bruce Forsythe). Dexter loves Raw carrot & banana, as treats, and Bakers puppy food for Dinner, he has his little mad self exercise sessions running round and around the sundial in our back garden which I find highly amusing! and particularly loves running off with the clothes pegs while I am hanging out my washing!! he really is the most amazing boy! and so intelligent! I love him to bits and I really don't know what I'd do without him.
